Charlotte Lockhart is a highly accomplished Broker and founder of Lockhart Real Estate Collective, LLC. A proud, lifelong resident of Southeast Louisiana, Charlotte is a third-generation realtor and builder, bringing a deep, inherited passion for property and construction to her work. Her roots in the industry run deep: her grandfather, Lamar Coxe, Sr., founded Builders Center Inc. and was instrumental in developing many of Baton Rouge's residential subdivisions and commercial areas. Following in his footsteps, her father, William (Bill) Coxe, Sr., was a developer and residential contractor, and her mother, Barbara Coxe, was a Realtor. Licensed in Louisiana since 1994 and serving as a Broker since 1996, Charlotte has decades of experience guiding clients through successful transactions.
Charlotte is a passionate advocate for continuous learning, intentionally seeking out information and education opportunities to stay on top of market trends and forecasts. She regularly attends the annual National Conference of Realtors as well as multiple online and local in person seminars throughout the year.
In 2025, in response to encouragement from long-term clients, she established Lockhart Real Estate Collective, LLC, and expanded her licensing to include Mississippi and Arkansas, effectively becoming your trusted tri-state real estate expert. Charlotte’s passion is evident in every step of the process, whether she is showing homes and finding that "perfect fit" for her buyers, or advising sellers on winning pricing strategies and staging their property. She holds two specialized designations: the PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor) and the ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative), ensuring she provides the highest level of service in both buying and selling. Her expertise spans all sectors of the market, including existing residential, land, commercial, new construction, and flipping houses.
After graduating from Episcopal High School, Charlotte received a BA from Louisiana State University and later an MA from Southeastern Louisiana University. Charlotte has been married to Mike Lockhart, a residential contractor, for 36 years. They have two amazing adult children, Elizabeth Butler and Michael Lockhart. You would think at this stage in life she would be slowing down, but she is as busy as ever and loving it! When she is not focused on real estate, she enjoys traveling with family and friends, playing Mahjong, and hosting large family dinners.
